Vikki Clayton in Concert with Paul Mills Donovan, Dylan & Me project in support

Another fantastic lineup are to appear once again at Earlswood Village Hall. It’s one of their favourite village Halls. The management at Earlswood Village Hall are wonderful. Nothing is too much trouble for them. However, this will be folk diva Vikki Clayton’s, she of Fairport Convention fame, first visit to the hall she said “My agent Ian Gibbons said”,  “it’s one of the best village hall gigs because they seem to know exactly what they’re doing. When it comes to getting their message out to people” Ian has nothing but praise for Earlswood Village Hall.

Opening the show is Paul Mills with his much talked about folk themed tribute show Simply Donovan, Dylan And Me. Paul Mills will pay homage to two of the greatest folk singer of this generation namely Scottish troubadour Donovan and the legendary Bob Dylan. He celebrates their musical careers live on stage, Mr Paul Mills will be Tangled Up In Dylan on this tour. Paul will dip in and out of the vast catalogue of the Nobel Prize winner, from his folk beginnings (Blowin’ in the Wind, The Times They Are A’Changing) through to his electric records (Like A Rolling Stone, Just Like A Woman) and beyond, taking inspiration from his tours with The Band (Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door, Forever Young) and The Rolling Thunder Review (Tangled Up In Blue, The Hurricane), as well as paying homage to some of the most famous incarnations of Dylan’s work via The Byrds, Manfred Mann, George Harrison, and others.

Also you get to hear his renditions of Donovan’s biggest hits such as Hurdy Hurdy Man, Catch The Wind, Jenifer Juniper, Colours, Sunshine Superman, Atlantic, Mellow Yellow. Paul Mills is releasing his much awaited self titled album on StoryTeller Records in the Summer of 2027.
