Perfect for little ones, younger families and anyone who would enjoy a gentler introduction to theatre, this magical storybook version of *Clara and The Nutcracker* invites audiences to step inside a Christmas adventure like no other. Travel alongside Clara as toys come to life, snow begins to fall and sweet surprises await in a sparkling world of imagination. With beautiful narration guiding the story, audiences can relax and enjoy the magic at their own pace.

Each child will receive a special follow-along storybook and colouring activities to enjoy during the performance and take home afterwards — helping little imaginations stay engaged from beginning to end ✨📖🖍️

This relaxed performance includes:

❄ No loud bangs, flashing lights or sudden effects

❄ British Sign Language (BSL) support

❄ A welcoming environment where movement, wriggles and quiet chatter are absolutely okay

• Doors open in advance — we recommend arriving 30 minutes before the performance

• Parking is available for 278 vehicles, including EV charging and accessible bays.

• Bus Station: approximately 10 minutes' walk · Train Station: approximately 25 minutes' walk.

• Performances begin promptly. Latecomers may need to wait until a suitable point in the performance before entering.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• All seating is reserved. Tickets are non-refundable, non-exchangeable and non-transferable. Resale is not permitted.

• Walking children and upwards must have their own ticket and allocated seat. This applies even if you expect your child to sit on your lap during the performance.

• Babes in arms / non-mobile infants do not require a ticket, provided they remain on an accompanying adult's lap and do not require their own seat.

• Children must remain under the supervision of their accompanying adult throughout their visit.

• Photography, videography and audio recording are **strictly prohibited** to safeguard our young performers and protect the production. Audience members found recording may be asked to stop or leave the auditorium without refund.

• Official photography and videography may take place during the event.

• This is a relaxed performance. Auditorium lighting will remain softly on, music levels will be reduced and there will be no loud bangs, flashing lights or sudden theatrical effects.

• Movement, wriggles and quiet chatter are welcome. Families are free to step out of the auditorium if needed and return when appropriate.

• Follow-along storybooks and colouring activities are provided for children attending the Storybook Ballet and are included with their child’s ticket.
